These capacitors offer Weibull grading, surge current testing options that comply with per MIL PRF 55365 standard, low ESR options, and built-in fuses to achieve high reliability and provide short circuit protection in critical applications.
The T86 series devices have an internal fuse melting mechanism. When a current of over 5A is applied at+25 ℃, the fuse will fuse within 0.1 seconds to take effect. In the event of faults caused by overcurrent, internal fuses can protect circuit components from damage in highly reliable aviation and military applications such as radar, missiles, and other weapon systems.
The T86 series can provide low ESR options, and devices with low ESR have an ESR of only 0.25 Ω under+25 ℃ and 100kHz conditions. They can perform more effective filtering in industrial applications, medical instruments, diagnostics, high-end computing, and data storage that require the highest reliability for personal safety. Capacitors can handle high ripple currents to ensure stable output voltage.
The device released today belongs to Vishay's TANTAMOUNT tantalum capacitor series, providing C, D, and E molded external dimensions with a capacitance range of 0.47 μ F-470 μ F. The voltage range is 4V to 50V. These devices not only expand in capacitance/voltage, but also provide a wide range of options for reliability, surge current, and ESR, making T86 tantalum capacitors flexible for various applications and meeting different performance requirements.
The T86 series can be mounted using high-speed automatic equipment and has RoHS compliant standard electrodes. Sn/Pb electrodes can also be provided. Capacitors can operate within the temperature range of -55 ℃ to+125 ℃.
T86 solid tantalum chip capacitors are now available for sample supply and have achieved mass production. The supply cycle for bulk orders is 10 to 12 weeks.
